Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson exited Game 5 against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday after taking a hit in the second period from Sean Walker.
Karlsson appeared to favor his left arm after the collision with the boards and reportedly left the arena for further medical evaluation, according to ESPN's Emily Kaplan.

"He's not going to be with us, probably," Golden Knights head coach John Tortorella said. "We've got to find a way to fill that void, not with just one guy but as a team."
Karlsson, a key penalty killer for Vegas, scored four goals and added three assists over 14 regular season games this year, missing substantial playing time due to lower-body injuries.
"When we lose Bill, it kind of screws things up," Tortorella added. "We lost momentum when we went back to back in penalties. It was about the same time that we lost Bill. We've got to find a way."
The 33-year-old scored 30 goals during the 2023-24 campaign.
