AJ Dybantsa and the Washington Wizards won 92-88 Thursday against the Utah Jazz and Darryn Peterson in a Summer League battle between the top two picks in the 2026 NBA Draft last month.

Dybantsa, who went first overall, posted a game-high 27 points with seven boards and two assists.

The 19-year-old wasn't on the floor in the dying seconds, being removed with leg soreness.

"Nothing crazy. I'll be back," Dybantsa said postgame regarding the injury.

Peterson, the No. 2 selection, scored 24 while shooting 6-for-8 in free throws and 2-for-7 from deep. He also added three rebounds and three assists.

This was the Las Vegas Summer League opener for both teams. The Jazz participated in Salt Lake City Summer League last week, going 3-0.
