The Los Angeles Lakers have re-signed guard Austin Reaves to a four-year, $185-million maximum contract, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.
Reaves inks the deal after declining a $14.9-million player option for the 2026-27 season.
The 28-year-old's new contract includes a player option for the final season in 2029-30, according to Charania. It's also the richest deal signed by an undrafted player in NBA history.

Reaves' deal will get signed after the Lakers use their cap space, should they…
Reaves is being rewarded for last season's productivity. He averaged a career-best 23.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists on 49% shooting in 51 contests and ranked second on the team in scoring behind league-leader Luka Doncic.
Reaves has spent five seasons with the Lakers after going undrafted in 2021 and subsequently joining Los Angeles on a two-way deal. He then signed a standard contract before agreeing to a four-year, $53.8-million pact ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
Leading up to the draft, Los Angeles had preliminary discussions with LeBron James' representatives about his potential return for the 2026-27 season, sources told The Athletic's Dan Woike.
Other Lakers players set to become unrestricted free agents include Luke Kennard, Rui Hachimura, and Jaxson Hayes.
