New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson cooled any trade talk as rumors ramp up ahead of the NFL's trade deadline on Nov. 10.
On Wednesday, Wilson told reporters "no" when asked if he's requested a trade or plans to do so, according to Connor Hughes of SNY.
The fifth-year wideout added that he wants to stay with the franchise, though he acknowledged the team's lack of success has been difficult.
"I love it here," Wilson said, per Brian Coz of the New York Post. "Do I love it more than winning? No, to be completely honest, but I'm hopeful."
Wilson also mentioned that his lack of targets and low usage have been bothering him.
"No doubt," Wilson said, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic. "I'd be lying if I said I'm not (frustrated). But at the end of the day, it comes down to winning and losing. Throughout my experience, when things go right, I tend to have a part in that. And when it doesn't, it seems avoidable."
He added: "It's frustrating because I want to have an impact, and I want to help the team."
Wilson has caught 37 passes for 444 yards and three touchdowns this season. He was targeted just three times in New York's Week 7 loss to the Miami Dolphins, hauling in two receptions for 26 yards.
The 26-year-old's 5.3 catches per game rank 16th among qualified receivers this season.
The Jets (2-5) are on pace for their 11th straight losing season.
