Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London due to a hamstring injury.
DeVonta Smith, who's also dealing with a hamstring injury, will miss his second straight game.
Barkley left during the first quarter of Philadelphia's Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and didn't return. The star running back didn't practice leading up to Sunday's meeting with Jacksonville and is considered week-to-week.
Third-string rusher Will Shipley is projected to start for the Eagles on Sunday. Tank Bigsby, who had 14 carries against the Rams, was placed on injured reserve Tuesday after undergoing core muscle surgery. The club then called up Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele from its practice squad to add depth at the position.
The Eagles will also be without starting center Drew Kendall, who missed practice all week with a knee injury. Edge rusher Jonathan Greenard didn't practice either, though he's listed as questionable with an ankle ailment.
Tight end Dallas Goedert will return from a two-game absence after suffering a knee injury in Week 2. Linebacker Zack Baun is also back in the lineup after missing last week's game due to a concussion.
