The Pittsburgh Steelers are trading offensive tackle Broderick Jones and a fourth-round pick to the Dallas Cowboys for third- and sixth-round selections, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
Drafted 14th overall in 2023, Jones has started 38 career games but struggled at the beginning of last season and suffered a season-ending neck injury in late November.
The 25-year-old wasn't projected to start for the Steelers this season after Troy Fautanu moved to left tackle. Pittsburgh also drafted right tackle Max Iheanachor in the first round this year and has Dylan Cook, who started four games in 2025.
Jones played in all three preseason games, allowing three sacks and five pressures in 92 pass-blocking snaps, according to PFF. Since entering the league, he's surrendered 20 sacks, 55 hurries, and 95 pressures in 45 regular-season games.
Dallas has been searching for offensive tackle help, according to ESPN's Todd Archer. Tyler Guyton won the starting left tackle job early in training camp, and Terence Steele is projected to be the Week 1 starting right tackle.
