The biggest college football game of Week 7 is undoubtedly Ohio State's meeting with defending champion Indiana in a rematch of last year's Big Ten title game.
The Hoosiers enter the contest on a 22-game winning streak, which includes last week's impressive comeback victory over Nebraska.
While several players who appeared in last year's matchup will face one another again Saturday, Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day insisted that Ohio State isn't thinking about revenge.
"Nothing that happened in the past has anything to do with what's going on this weekend," Day told reporters Tuesday. "We can learn from the past. Some of the guys who played in that game can learn about all the reasons why we came up short. That's fine, that's good. But the focus has to be on right now and that's it. So, that's what we're going to focus on, and that'll be the best for the team."
The 2025 Big Ten championship was a nail-biting affair. After Ohio State held a 10-6 lead at halftime, Indiana drove down the field for a touchdown in the third quarter and held the Buckeyes scoreless in the second half to eventually win by three.
Ohio State fell victim to another second-half comeback this season as Texas stunned the Buckeyes in Week 2. The Longhorns roared back from a 20-point deficit by scoring three fourth-quarter touchdowns to secure the victory.
Day said that avoiding a similar mistake will be key for Saturday's matchup.
"You have to stay focused for 60 minutes. I think that's the challenge for all of us," Day said. "If you take a play off, these guys will hurt you. We can't do that. From the jump, we have to be locked in with great concentration, everybody doing their job at a high level and then sustain that throughout the entire game. Because if you don't, these guys can hurt you, and they have."
