San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama will grace the cover of the standard edition of NBA 2K27, the video game series announced Wednesday.
Chicago Bulls legend Derrick Rose will appear on the cover of the ultra edition, while WNBA star Caitlin Clark will appear on the deluxe edition.
Wembanyama is the first Spurs player and first Frenchman to be the NBA 2K standard cover athlete. Tony Parker appeared on the French edition of NBA 2K16.

The 7-foot-4 center averaged 25 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks in 2025-26, winning Defensive Player of the Year and finishing third in MVP voting. He carried the Spurs to an NBA Finals appearance before they ultimately lost to the New York Knicks in five games.
The Spurs drafted Wembanyama first overall in 2023.
NBA 2K27 will be released Sept. 4.
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was on the cover of NBA 2K26.
