NBA rescinds Luka's 16th tech, preventing automatic 1-game suspension
The NBA rescinded the technical fouls issued to Luka Doncic and Goga Bitadze during Saturday's game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic, the league announced Sunday.
Doncic would've been automatically suspended for Monday's matchup against the Detroit Pistons if the league hadn't nullified what was initially his 16th technical foul of the season.
The Lakers star got into a verbal altercation with the Magic big man late in the third quarter.

Doncic claims that Bitadze insulted his family in Serbian during the exchange. However, the latter refuted those comments and implied that the six-time All-Star was responsible for sparking their argument.
Doncic has been playing some of the best basketball of his career during the Lakers' nine-game win streak, averaging 40 points, 8.4 rebounds, 7.4 assists, and 2.6 steals.
