Joey Chestnut did it again.

The competitive eater claimed his 18th title at the Nathan's Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest on Saturday, downing 66 hot dogs in 10 minutes on Coney Island in New York.

Pat Bertoletti took second place with 50 hot dogs and James Webb finished third with 48.

"It's a dream, it's electric, there's no place better on Earth," Chestnut said after the win, according to the Associated Press' Safiyah Riddle.

In the women's competition, Miki Sudo won her fifth straight title and 12th overall by eating 38.75 hot dogs.

Chestnut, 42, holds the men's world record with 76 hot dogs eaten in 2021. He competed in this year's event while on probation after he pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge in April.

Chestnut was accused of slapping a man in the face at a bar in Indiana. He pleaded guilty April 20 and was sentenced to 180 days of probation. Major League Eating, which organizes the hot dog eating contest, said the criminal case didn't affect Chestnut's eligibility.
